Is Jamb Results Out – The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) results are now available on the Results-checker portal at www.jamb.gov.ng. How To Check JAMB Results 2024
There is no need to use a scratch card to check the results of the 2024 JAMB UTME..Candidates can access their results online for free.

The only method currently available for checking JAMB results is SMS. Send “UTMERESULT” as a text message to 55019 to view the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results. Always use the same phone number that you registered with.
You can access the JAMB Results-checking website at www.portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility /CheckUTMEResults.
Put your JAMB registration number and email address in the appropriate fields.
Next, click on “Check Results.”
When done, the portal will load your Results.
A different option is to log into your JAMB profile and select “Check UTME Examination Results.” This method is more accessible and straightforward. You can go with any process that’s best for you.
How to verify JAMB Results using a short code through SMS
Following the regulations, candidates can send Results to 55019 using the phone number they used to create their profile to verify before receiving their results. It will cost N50 for each message.
When checking JAMB results through SMS, the following responses are to be anticipated:
Candidates who try to check with the wrong number would receive a notification saying, “This phone number was not used for registration”.
A candidate will get the notification: “Dear Mr/Miss,, your Results is as follows – message containing your results.
For Withheld results, the candidate will receive a “Results Withheld” notification.
The notification to the applicant will read: “Results withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document necessary from you.” if the applicant falls into this category, they need to do the needful before seeing their results.
“CANDIDATE ABSENT” would be received by those who were absent.
A candidate unable to attend and had their registration canceled will also be informed via the message.
Note
JAMB results are also released in batches. If the portal responds, “You Do Not Have Any Results Yet,” your Results is not yet available. Therefore, you must wait and check back later.
